After visiting many popular Caribbean scuba diving destinations, we visited Bonaire after hearing about the spectacular diving and snorkeling. Since that first visit, we've gone nowhere else! Not only is the scuba diving and snorkeling second to none, the island is very different than other popular vacation destinations. When you arrive, you feel like you're visiting your second home. The island is laid back, quiet, safe, and just feels like home from the moment you arrive. We've brought many friends with us to Bonaire over the years, and most have returned to the island because they too fell in the love with Bonaire.

When we're not on Bonaire, we are at our dive shop located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada called The Dive Outfitters. We provide scuba diving and snorkeling training throughout the year. In the summer, our open water scuba training is done in the mountain lakes in Jasper, which are glacier fed. During the winter months, our students usually head south to warmer climents to finish their open water training. Also during the winter we like to enjoy a bit of ice diving.

Because we are scuba divers, we made sure that Villa Makoshi LowerLevel was truly a dive villa. Everything from the outdoor shower and rinse station, to the drying & storage areas. It's conveniently located on the lower level so there's no hauling gear up and down any stairs. We hope you find the villa comfortable and convenient too!
